Arrived quickly. Very similar to the very expensive kind, but easier to read. Temperatures read quickly and when test side by side with the expensive version, read within .1°F of each other. I could buy 10 of these for one of the other. Plus, I like that it came with a spare battery.

I finally decided to give one of these a try and wow what a game changer. If you’ve been resistant to these instant read thermometers just stop and buy this now! Fire up your pit when it arrives and see just how much faster you can get in there, take a temp, and close the pit back up as compared to the slow analog dial thermometer. You loose 5 minutes time checking and what, 20 minutes to get back to temp? I can get in and out whether on a kettle or my stick burner in seconds with this and have almost no temp loss. GET ONE!!!

Very nice meat thermometer it is very easy to use and you can fold it up and put it in your pocket Incase you need to reuse it again it is very accurate and you will get your temperature withing a few second after you insert it in the meat you are cooking

Excellent meat thermometer, super easy to read and use. Buttons are clear and easy to press. The backlight function is great for an easy to read screen, but can be turned on or off. The auto on/off is a simple as opening or closing the needle. There is a nice little cheat sheet for meat temperatures on the body of the unit and on the back is a magnet for easy storage on the side of the fridge.

Delivers as promised at first use. I immediately tested it in ice cold water then boiling water and the temperature was spot on — a few tenths off at most. I used the “Calibration” feature to reset just to see if it would make a difference, but the results were the same. I’ve used other digital thermometers and never felt I could trust them to be as precise.
I think I’ll be quite satisfied with this, and the price makes it a value.

Appears to be used, it came with no protective cover, and is covered in scratches, also the magnet does not hold it on the fridge well, it just slides down… however it does turn on, haven’t used it yet.

I was surprised to see how large the thermometer was when I opened it. I have had similar types int he past and they have not been as large and the display was often hard to read. This display is very large with crisp, very legible numbers.
I also like it because it shuts off when you close it. Simple but nice feature. The less you have to fumble with buttons, the better.
Comes with a replacement battery and tool to open the casing.
I like this so much I will be purchasing a second as a spare in case this one ever dies. Highly recommend this product.

This is a good thermometer. Takes quick accurate temperatures and has a light up screen for my terrible eyesight. Only thing I think that I would be concerned about is the flimsy way it unfolds. Doesnt seem to be too sturdy with regards the the probe itself but other than that this thing has been exceptional.

I loved it so much I bought my family members one also. This thermometer is great. I use it indoors and outside when grilling. It is fast and accurate. The guide on the side helps the less talented cooks know at what temperature meats are done. Great addition to any kitchen.

The first thing I used this for was homemade pizza dough. The water has to be within a certain temperature for the yeast to activate, and thanks to this thing, it was spot on. Last night, I used it to test the temperature of steak while it was cooking in a pan. I have always overcooked or undercooked steaks in the past, but this one was cooked to perfection.
This thing would also be great for baby formula or a baby’s bath water. Although I won’t personally have a need for that unless I’m babysitting, I would certainly buy another one as a gift for new parents, or for someone who might need it for cooking.

For meat to cooked just right the internal temperature has to be at the right temperature. The adoric meat thermometer is a good quality thermometer. It turns on when the probe is pulled out. The back is magnetic so that i can place it where i am cooking at, so that it does not get lost.

Have now purchased two of this products (one for our camper and one for our house). It has a magnet in the back and attaches to the hidden side of my fridge so I can quickly find it with ease. The digital readouts are bright and accurate. The metal prodding end is sharp and slides easily into most meats using only a one handed push. It’s a really nicely made product!

Why Did I Not Have One of These Before?! Its really easy to use and has been a game changer for cooking chicken and steak. It takes all the guess work out of figuring out if your meat is ready, especially when it comes to cooking steak to a specific amount of doneness. No more cutting open your steak to see if it’s done. We already had an “instant read” thermometer from our local kitchen store. When grilling, I’d stick it in the food and wait maybe one minute for the reading to stabilize.
Then we got this Adoric and….wow! It’s fairly big, making it easier to handle when wearing oven mitts, it’s magnetic, so it will stay on my grill’s table or our fridge. Pulling out the probe—kind of like opening a folding knife—turns on the thermometer. The probe is long, which keeps my hands away from the grill, and it really seems to read instantly, less than a second.
The numbers are readable. And while the instructions warn against prolonged immersion, I have briefly dunked the entire unit without doing it any harm.
This even came with an extra battery. Oh, and there’s a bottle opener built in!
Using this kind of thermometer has really improved my cooking—fish and other meat can be cooked to perfection, no surprises of raw meat at the dinner table. I really like this one.
The only question I haven’t yet resolved is this: if we leave it open, does it automatically turn off so it doesn’t run down the battery?

I love that it’s a little larger than the last one I had because I was able to check the temperature of the chicken I was cooking without having to take it out of the oven. I really like that it takes regular AAA batteries because the last one too those circle watch batteries and I never had them available when I needed one. Highly recommend this one!
