Only locks to work! I’ve tried numerous kinds of cabinet locks with no luck… These locks work!!! I no longer have to worry about my daughter or cat getting into the cleaning supply cabinet or ones with glass storage containers! Every lock I’ve ever tried my daughters been in the cabinet right after installing… these locks she CANNOT open! I would recommend to anyone with kids or animals you want to keep out of your cabinets!

easy to install, works well. The only problem is when you place it where you don’t remember that it’s on…then if you pull on the door and it doesn’t open, then you YANK on the door – the little plastic latch isn’t superman! You can tear it off or break it. But I don’t really think that’s the problem of the latch…mainly my wife yanking the door open without seeing it there!

✔️Love these fridge locks.
✔️Good pricing: 4 locks for $8.99
✔️Easy to install.
✔️Easy to use.
✔️So far after one month’s use, adhesion is good. Follow instructions.
✔️These are not like lock & key; they won’t lock out teenagers or older people LOL, but they do make it harder for children to open. (but I have seen smart children open “child-proof” cabinet locks!!!)
✔️Install them as high up as possible on the fridge & freezer.
✔️Good to use if somebody doesn’t properly close your fridge or freezer; so you don’t find that maybe it was open for hours & you have to throw out your spoiled food!!!
✔️We put one lock on each fridge & each freezer for above reason.
✔️Thanks to the smart person who invented this smart lock!
✔️This small investment of $9. can save you big $$$ instead of throwing out spoiled food!

Fantastic for keeping our kids out of the kitchen cupboards. Plastic seems to hold up well to some vigorous pulling by our kids so i’m glad they are not ‘flimsy’.
mr a c doran –
Brilliant, bought some other ones that were rubbish, glad I got these
Sue –
Easy to install, great concept in design because adults can get into the cabinet quickly but babies can’t open. BUT I’ve had to purchase 2-3 boxes because they keep breaking. I wish they were more durable because otherwise they’d be perfect. Do not recommend for cabinets that are used often because they’ll break after a month.
MISS S. –
Bought these to keep my cats out of the cupboard where I keep their food.
Works a treat !

Saved our life! Attached one or two depending on the cabinets style
llondbol –
Perfect to stop our toddler getting into cupboards! Really easy to use and nice and long so would work with different handle spacing.
Sarah –
Arrived quickly works perfectly does the job I bought them for my grandson can’t get into my fridge anymore he’s not happy but I am lol
Julia Tuleneva –
I am surprised at some of the bad reviews. These locks are great. They are wide enough but can be shortened easily. Very easy to put on and take off. The baby will not be able to figure it out because it requires use of two fingers simultaneously as you slide it down. So nice to keep my kitchen cabinets safe or I should say my child safe!
Mayra Guzman –
After my son figured out how to open cabinets when I used the inside ones u push down I knew I had to look for something else. While its not the prettiest its the ONE that works. My 2 year old gave up trying to break into the kitchen sink. So not only does this prevent breaking in…it helps wean them from breaking into things 😂
David J –
We bought these to help baby-proof our kitchen for our little crawler. They work perfectly. They’re slightly flexible so they work for corner drawers and tighten easily to keep drawers and cabinets closed. The most important thing is they’re very easy for adults to remove when you need access to the cabinets. This is not one of those “child-proof” locks that is also adult-proof. Works exactly as intended.
L. J. Vigg –
Love these cabinet locks! I have had others but they were more flexible and the kids got into the cabinets. These locks are more secure than some others, how secure, someone put one in the cabinet door wrong with the slider tabs facing the cabinets. Now came the part where I couldn’t move the slide because I couldn’t pinch the tabs to slide it, I even briefly tried breaking the lock off, then got smart and used pliers to get behind the lock to pinch the tabs together. These locks are really good I couldn’t even break one! If you have little kids getting in your cabinets these are great sturdy and easy to use!

This product came at a great price and quality. They look sleep in any kitchen (our cabinets are grey), and they are super easy to install. I was worried about the constant need to have to go in my cabinets, undo the ties, and then re-do them, but I have absolutely NO problem quickly loosening the latches, and reapplying them. My 2-year old still can’t figure out how to use them and it has truly deterred her from trying.
Anonymous –
They look cheap. Feel a little flimsy, but it works. Seriously! My one year old is always getting into the cabinets and throwing everything out. I wanted something that we didn’t have to drill or use a separate key to open. Found these tried it and love it. My kid tries to open the cabinets and will pull and yank and they still haven’t broke. But I’ve only had them for a week or less. Hope they can tough it out. Very affordable too.
MB –
The reason why I have one star at “easy to use” is because it is difficult to open the lock, which is exactly why I bought it. The kids can’t open it. I lock my cleaning products away in a cabinet with this lock and I am confident they cannot get to it. On the other hand, once you’ve got it, it is simple enough for adults to unlock when necessary. Great product!
Classanova –
I actually bought these to thwart my cat from opening and hiding in my kitchen cabinets. We recently got a kitten whom, regretfully, my older cat HATES and actively tries to hide from. These took 5 seconds to install and now she can’t try to open the cabinets at 2am and we have to hear THUMP THUMP THUMP whiles she wrestles them open.
They are also very easy to open and I appreciate that they can be removed without a trace when the atmosphere improves between my cats (please let the atmosphere improve…..)

Perfect do the job well
LashGirl –
My toddler was a menace before I made this purchase. My house was mayhem. MEYHEM I TELL YA! Stacked cup-a-noodle everywhere. Stolen chewy bars sprinkled throughout the halls. Canned beets in the toy chest. These handy sliding locks have saved me countless hours of hide n seek with what I can only assume became “never going to eat, expired goods.” If you live with Gremlins, hungry trolls or tiny humans…this product is for you!!

For some reason our grown cats have become obsessed with getting into the cabinets AFTER we installed closet door slides to keep them out of them. This morning was hilarious when the “Rain Man” cat ran into the kitchen to open the cabinet and chew on plastic, and he looked up , saw the locks and then he looked like a deflated balloon. He is older but for some reason started his morning routine looking for plastic. Once the thrill is gone we will try removing them, but they are easy to use, not too difficult to remove, and work exactly as we needed them for.
Anisha Agarwala –
I’ve been looking for locks to keep our mobile infant out of our cleaning supplies and electronics and the adhesive patches just were not working for us. I ordered these as a last ditch effort and they are perfect! They keep the doors closed enough that she has not yet been able to open the doors even when pulling up with her weight. There is certainly a little give and they would open a bit of she pulled up but not enough to grab anything. I also love that they can be tightened such that the doors would stay closed. Easy to use and leaves no mess.
Kathleen Connell –
These are easily adjustable and fit perfect for our kitchen cabinet where we keep all of our cleaning supplies so our little one is safe from any harmful irritants and chemicals or poisons. These are great for smaller children who are just starting to explore and crawl around or walk as well as older toddlers. It would even prevent pets from climbing into cabinets!
mbr –
We never figured out how to install these. They came with instructions about what to do if the clips were on backwards–which they were. And we could never figure out how to get them to work correctly
Chris Kaczmarek –
This works great! The title of the product is not super clear so I’ll clarify here. This works well for children. My two year old is dumb enough to not know how to get into the cabinets when the locks are on. My four year old can sort of figure it out. She’s too smart for her own good. I will say my wife can work these, so if you are trying to hide like a Christmas present, or lock her out of the cabinet where you keep that candy, it probably won’t work.

UPDATE – based on my original review (below) the seller emailed me. Seller apologized for sending me defective merchandise and processed a full refund. Based on this stellar customer service I would give the product another try, but I’ve already installed a bunch of inner cabinet locks and have no need now for any more locks
**********************************************************************************************************
The unlocking “process” requires just the right amount of pressure on two small tabs. Not enough pressure and the gripping teeth will not disengage. Too much pressure and the whole U-shaped portion distorts enough that you can’t separate the 2 pieces.

Just received them and they were super easy to install and remove from cupboards. I feel like $11 is a bit pricey for 4 pieces of plastic, but if they work and keep my daughter safe, that’s ok with me. Measure how far your handles are from each other; the one under my sink seems to be a bit more spread apart than my other cupboard handles so it almost didn’t fit, as seen in the first picture. The cupboards still open a bit, also seen in the picture but I don’t foresee that as an issue since it’s a pretty small gap.

I have reached the empty nest stage of life, which means frantic baby proofing takes place when the grandkids are coming over. These cabinet latches work SOOOO much better than the ones I used when our kids were little. Very easy to install! I take them on and off frequently while they’re here (to access my trash can under the sink). Really appreciate the design! 👍🏼
Benan Ozkaynak –
This is made so difficult to operate, so not only the kids also grandparents with arthritis can’t open it! 😔😔
CaptainBlackton –
Our first son was great, but number two doesn’t listen to us no matter what, and just keeps going into all our cabinets and pulling everything out. We got so tired of constantly pulling him away from the cabinets and always having to keep an eye on him. This product did the trick. It’s quite easy for an adult to use, and even for our 3 year old, but our 1 year old can’t get into the cabinets anymore. The only annoying thing about this is having to bend over to take these off and put them back on again, but that’s expected with any kind of safety latch I would think.
mickey –
These surprised me. They are awesome for keeping babies and toddlers out of my cabinets. Every other locking device my toddler can figure out how to manipulate or the big kids leave the unlocking part around, but this is self contained and the baby cannot figure it out. They are long enough to accommodate all of my cabinets which is a win. And you do get four of them in one pack. So they are priced nicely for all that you get.
Karen Bliss –
My kiddo is always into kitchen cabinets. These were great for my cabinets that had more than one handle. Looping these around the handles took care of it. It was even a struggle for my 9 year old to open! Great for keeping kids out of things you don’t want them into.
beano –
these work great. The only complaint I have is that they are kind of a pain to unlock but I can live with that if it will keep my grandchildren from getting into things they shouldn’t. Plus the fact that they are not at my house that much. I would but these again.
WASD –
My 19 month old is into everything. We needed locks to keep her out of the lower cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms where we store cleaning products. We weren’t interested in magnetic locks or locks that would require drilling. These suit our needs and price is reasonable for a pack of 4.
Super easy to install and a breeze for adults to remove. I don’t see my toddler figuring this out for while though. Plastic seems durable to typical toddler destructive tendencies. Will update if my little monster manages to break the product.
Jennifer –
I don’t have a kid. I have an annoying cat that likes to open all the doors. With this, he can’t do it and has given up trying to open them. Very easy to install. I guess you can say it’s age appropriate? He is a 5 year old cat that can’t open them, and as an adult i can do it in the dark or with eyes closed.
Jo –
These locks are not only great for cabinet doors, but for my fridge doors as well. Perfect! Works well for children and elderly adults. I love that they’re very simple to lock and unlock, but not so easy that a child to unlock. I also love that there is nothing to “stick” to the cabinet or fridge and no tools required.
Kacie O –
The length is kind of short – so almost every time I need to get into the cabinet both ends of the bar come all the way off the lock track and I have to drop everything and use both hands to re-assemble it. When you have a toddler- both hands aren’t always available, and you don’t always have time to do tedious things like this. I’ve seen better ones on the market that have longer bars and even some with bars that are just longer on one side- which would work fine
A cool mother –
I needed something to keep my closet doors closed because my cats kept going in and pulling my clothes off the hanger and jumping on shelves and knocking things down. These are perfect because they don’t have a string that they can play with. They fit perfectly. I was able to use 3 out of the 4 because for some reason one of my closest door handles were installed really far apart. But either way I’m super happy I bought these
Me –
These are great but are different from the cheaper ones you get ever where else. The reason why I got them is because the teeth inside that you use to adjust the length don’t hurt you like the other ones. These are way cheaper than getting some of the other devices out there. I have a lot of cabinets and plus they can easily be store away.
eve –
I previously purchased the “stick on” cabinet locks that my grandson was able to “unstick” (will have to update that review) and even though he has never placed non food items in his mouth, he does like making a mess with everything and dumping out containers.
These locks were very simple to use and he hasn’t been able to break them off. I am using them on my supply desk and cleaning cabinet.

My mother bought these for her house for when we visit with my 1 year old, and they worked great! She has cabinets which have handles. After seeing how well they worked at her house, I bought some for mine without giving it much thought. When I got then in the mail, I went to install them and realized my cabinet doors have knobs, not handles. At first I thought “great, now I have to return these cuz my dumb a** forgot to look at what type of handles we had”. However I tried to install them just to see, and to my surprise they worked! As long as your knobs have a lip on them, these will still work! Very easy to install/uninstall, just squeeze the two tabs together and slide on or off. Very happy with this purchase!
D. Laborie –
I have a one year old that’s an aggressive digger and loves opening cabinets. Wasn’t sure how these would work but they have deterred him from opening cabinets and haven’t broken when he tugs on them. They are very easy to get on and off when we need to get things out of the cabinets. Overall very happy with this purchase.
Demi –
Super great for kitchen cabinets with door knobs! Very easy to install and remove. I usually find childproof locks difficult to open, but this one is VERY simple to use. My kid will never get into the cabinets again! HAHAHA!
Faye coulson –
Ugly but do the job
J –
Perhaps I didn’t read well enough. But I don’t like that the sliding lock thing comes off each time to open the cabinet. They are easy to miss place and just a little annoying. However they do slide every easily and work very well.
Kate –
Bought this for our dog, wanted to show that we are using these for horizontal handles instead of the vertical ones. Even though they can be opened, it takes a decent amount of force to open them, which our dog can’t. I really liked the fact that you can move these around without having to worry about those stick on pads. They seem pretty well built, but we’ll see how they will fare against the determination of my dog wanting his treats.
Ean –
Fits any cabinet door easily here in the USA.
– May I suggest, to face the lock towards the cabinet so the tabs you press on aren’t easily figured out by your child.
– I would buy this item again 100%
Sammy –
These are terrible. They are so hard to unlatch I cant even use them.
Christina D. –
Perfect for safety around the house with little hands running around. This is used on cabinets with nobs, would work great on handles too. Just what we needed in a 4 pack. Cheap plastic, but it should last just fine. Easy to pinch one handed too.
Meagan –
They work well for our “I” shaped cabinet door pulls. Wish there was a way to attach the slide-on part as I constantly drop the things and it still takes me a minute to line them up to get them attached, even after 2 months. BUT they do what they need to to keep little fingers out!
Cyndal S. –
Overall great product! They are super simple to use and they keep the little one from getting into the cabinets.
Pros: super easy to use. they are durable for the little one who is relentless with trying to bust it off the cabinet door. there were multiples in a pack, I didn’t have to buy 5 different packages for the quantity I needed.
Cons: I wish they were a little longer as it’s kind of tight on some of my cabinets. Sometimes it’s hard to get the slide off so I can open the cabinets – the latches don’t always match up which makes it tough to open
Yemi Sobowale –
These work well, but the cabinet handles on all of my cabinets in my house are probably 5-6 inches apart. The lock isn’t large enough to accommodate that space. So just double check that before you buy. I don’t think you’re allowed to post links to other products on here anymore, but there are other locks on amazon that accommodate a wider space.
Debbie Erickson –
I purchased these childproof locks to keep my young grandchildren out of my cupboards. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy they are and how easy to use. Best of all, my grandchildren cannot get them open! You get 4 locks in the package and they work on cupboards, side by side refrigerators and some dressers. I find these locks to be an excellent value for the price.
Boo Boo Jones –
We actually used these for the cabinets so my 9-year old wouldn’t get into all the snacks. Hoping the lock would at least deter her!! They were super easy to take on and a bit difficult to remove which was a good thing! We tried other methods in the past to get snacks locked up, and this was the easiest solution we found.
Besty –
I needed something that didn’t require making holes on the cabinets since we live in an apartment. These are super easy to use and don’t look too bad. I also used it around my staircase to avoid having to buy a baby gate and it worked perfectly. I only purchased the 4 pack because i wasn’t sure they would work but i will be looking into buying more for bathroom cabinets and dressers.
Beth K –
I put this on shutter doors with knobs that lead to a room that would be dangerous for elderly father to enter (cords etc…); he wanders at night. This was a good deterrent – makes him stop to (hopefully) remember that we told him not to go in. He did figure out how to remove it – – is easy to remove/doesn’t have the ridges to make it more difficult.
Jan –
Do exactly what they need to do
Have been using them for weeks with no issues. My mother is 72 and can also use them easily
TTG –
These work just fine and are large enough to fit all of the cabinets we installed them on. The main problem is that these come apart into 2 pieces, so they require 2 free hands to use and are a little tricky to get on in a hurry, compared to the single piece locks that can be taken off with one hand. All in all, they work just fine while they’re on, but you probably won’t want to use them on something you open often, like a pantry while cooking.
