Why Our Ice Balls Crystal-clear?

The average ice cube trays freeze from every directions, so the air is trapped in the ices and creates a big white air-bubble ice ball with less dense. But our ice cube maker features insulated foam outside, to allow freezing from the top to bottom and pushing out all air-bubbles at the bottom of water box, so as to give you crystal-clear and slow-melting ice balls.

Slower Melting, Longer Chilling

Compared to square ice cube, the sphere ice ball reduces the risk of breaking up, and it has a smaller surface that allows slow melting to maintain the flavor of your drinks. Our giant ice spheres with 2.36 inch size is more long-lasting and cool your drinks longer.

How to Use

1. Pour the water into the water box.
2. Put the upper and bottom ice ball trays together, then put them into the box.
3. Dry the outside of the water box, and place it into the form container.
4. Place the container into the freezer, and keep for 6-8 hours.
5. Take it out and leave it for minutes, then take out the ice ball maker.
6. Open the ice tray, and remove the ice balls with the clamp.
7. Enjoy your drinks with the large clear ice ball in it.

Warm Tips:

1. Please do not clean the ice cube trays with metal brush, just rinse it in running water.
2. Please dry it for storage after using.

    This product makes beautiful ice spheres for your drinks. I use mine on whisky and it’s perfect. The overall size is a little larger than I’d like so it takes up a bit of room in the freezer but the design allows the ice to form pretty clear without any that frosted look. Mold is nice and snug so it can be both good and bad because it takes just a little more effort removing it from the case. Time-wise, due to the insulating nature of foam, the ice spheres will take longer to make in your freezer but you get a more even freeze and thus a clearer ball. Overall I really like this product and would recommend it if you have room in your freezer. I’d like to see it slimmed down just a tad in future revisions.

    Follow the instructions, works great.

    1.) Fill the insulated container to the fill line with HOT tap water.
    2.) Assemble the 2 halves of the mold and slowly insert into the hot water.
    3.) Freeze between 24 and 30 hours (do not exceed 30 hours – remove and save ice in a ziploc bag for later if not ready to drink at 30 hours)
    4.) Pull up hard on each side of the rubber mold, this is to break the small ice posts at the bottom of the mold.
    5.) Grab the center of the rubber mold and pull straight up with gentle constant pressure out of the container.
    6.) Separate the two halves of the mold and remove the ice.

    7.) Enjoy your perfectly clear, perfectly sphere ice long-lasting ice.

    To ‘reset’ remove the ice and any water from the bottom. Use that ice in another mixed drink if you wish. Repeat the process starting with Step 1.

    Pros – CLEAR ice – Easy. Taste your whiskey, not your water.
    Cons – The system is fairly large, I recommend using an upright freezer or deep freeze. It is what it is, but find it important to mention it will eat up a fair amount of your kitchen refrigerator’s freezer.
