Surpassed my expectations! This is a cute great item that works! And it's petite, which is perfect for my small space. I've had fun making long noodles w/ beets (see photo of beet-spaghetti :), cucumbers & zucchini so far. Looking forward to sweet potato & butternut squash. The only thing I've had challenge w/ so far is carrot~ I think I'll need a very WIDE carrot, to successfully spiralize longer noodles (w/ average carrot, once I press it onto "corer/stand", outer part of carrot splits a bit simply due to carrot-narrowness~ what comes out the blade are individual thin crescent-moon curves, rather than long noodles. still very cute & tasty). As one reviewer wrote, this spiralizer-size/model is good, when cooking for 1-2 (would be a bit more elbow-grease/wrist-action than ideal for larger crowds~ you'll prob want to invest in bigger one w/ crank handle for mechanical advantage, for that). Love it! Really fantastic. Updating review: Some new helpful tips, observations, & more photos~ now that I've had many opportunities to use this great item: ~Actual use of instrument~ I've found placing the veggie on blade/top-surface & pressing down firmly, then turning the *actual spiralizer base" as it's pressed against counter-top or plate (not turning the veggie), works best/smoothly, & less tiring on the wrists (when I tried turning the veggie on the blade, while pressing down, was more awkward / bumpy.) ~Root veggies work very easily! Beets, carrots & sweet potatoes all spiralize superbly as "spaghetti" (see photos). ~Carrot note: At first I had difficulty with them splitting, but now have discovered 2 solutions: (a)wider carrots do indeed work more succesfully. (b) However, not necessary since~ surprisingly~ simply allowing the carrot to be a little less crisp/ slightly-"deydrated" (I leave carrot in fridge, w/o plastic bag keeping moisture in) makes it "rubbery" enough to spiralize w/o splitting! It works great. ~Summer squash is lovely too (ie- zucchini). ~Cooking times~ All noodles cook way faster than the same veggies normally do, when chopped or cubed (of course). So~ keep it fast, once noodles hit the boiling water. Re. zucchini/summer-squash esp~ you hardly need to cook these noodles at all (just super-quick "flash" in boiling water)~ this keeps the noodles perky; otherwise they can get way mushy (happened to me the first couple tries, when I left in boiling water too long). ~Cucumbers~ I find these are most attractive either as "ribbons" (see 2nd photo) or as "fettucine" (see 3rd picture). Tho' they can be spiralized as the thinner "spaghetti" too, I found their soft seeds/center pulped up amidst the "spaghetti" noodles & looked a li'l messy (looks more "crisp" as ribbon or fettucine). Yum. Enjoy. ~The only food I did not have great success with was butternut squash. I thought it would be perfect (soft yet firm) but once noodles are cooked, they really crumble. I tried "spaghetti" first which crumbled even before cooked; then tried "fettucine" which held well raw, but broke up on plate, once cooked (see 3rd photo, butternut squash 'broken" fettucini underneath perky carrot "spaghetti"). I guess it's texture is just a bit too crumbly non-cohesive for hanging out as long noodles.

I am trying to eat healthier nowa days. Pasta has a lot of calories so looking for an alternative to pasta i bought the Adoric spiral slicer. It is easy to use and clean . I can make a ribbon or make 2 different width of fettuccine veggie noodles. The Adoric handheld spiral veggie slicer is nice and durable. The blades are nice and sharp.

The price is right and if you haven't had spiralized veggies, this is probably a good way to find out if you like them. But, it is tedious to use (it does work fine though). And it was perfect for the one cuke recipe I had that called spiral cuke "noodles". However if I wanted to do more than a recipe or two a year I would go ahead and buy an electric one.

Great product. My spirals look great and this product is easier to use than I thought it was going to be. I like that it is also small and doesn’t take up a bunch of valuable cupboard space. I have already recommended it to several people!

I love the small size, easy storage, and ease of use of this little spiralizer. It does a good job providing the circumference of the veg is not too small (carrots need to be quite fat) or not too big (LARGE potatoes). I especially like the push button blade selector which works great. I just received it so I can't rate how long lasting the product is. I find it perfect for one or two servings or for garnishes, which takes only a few minutes. Any more than that I would suggest something designed for more high volume use, unless you have nothing better to do than spiralize veggies. I give it 5 stars because it performs WAY better than expected, having bought and tossed 2 other totally useless hand held spiralizers, both of which did not spiralize anything well and self destructed upon first or second use.

    November 11, 2020
Great compact size with 2 spiral size settings. Unfortunately, on mine, the settings don’t seem to make much of a difference. Spiralizes zucchini well. Main drawback is that it takes a long time to spiralize one vegetable and you have to take frequent wrist breaks. If I had to do it over again, I’d buy a bigger one and save my wrist. Otherwise, it does what it says it does...just very slowly!

    November 4, 2020
I searched online for the best spiralizer and this one was recommended. They were right! This thing is a little taxing on the wrist but the zoodles I get out of it are perfect. My daughter and I eat zoodles 3 to 4 times a week and I've even used it on onions for salads.

I was looking for a smaller spiralizer since the one I had, although it worked fine, was always a pain to use and very bulky to store. I found this one and decided to give it a try and it worked well! The larger type can probably handle a bit more types of veggies (to be fair I haven't tried it out in that capacity), but I usually only use zucchini for "zoodles" and it works great for that purpose. I also used it on cucumbers, in the slicing mode, and that worked out great as well. It is super easy to clean and excellent to store, especially in a smaller kitchen. I liked it so much, I bought another one for our cabin!

Interesting little tool and easy to use once you get the hang of it. Made a salad for dinner last night and with sliced vegetables the salad was delicious. I actually do not care for Radishes and with them being sliced so thin I actually enjoyed them. Can't wait to try it with more stuff~! Recommend this for those who like to make things a little fancy.

Love this spiralizer! Received as a gift from my wish list. There is hardly any waste and takes little effort to use. I like the setting options and it cleans well just be sure to hit the reset button before cleaning so food releases from the blade area when rinsing. My photo shows sautéed zucchini and squash. Recommend this spiralizer.

This product is very small and doesn’t take up much space to use or to store. There are three size options that you can change with the push of a button. It is easy to use and easy to clean. No fancy buttons or dials, just a simple little spiral slicer!

I used it to make some curly potato chips. Really neat. Pretty easy to use and it's compact so it doesn't take up much room. My son is already asking for me to spiral cut apples and carrots, good way to get the picky eaters to eat something healthy.

I love this little gadget! I used it to make spiralized cucumber for my 3 year old. It was a fun treat for him :) I love that it doesn't have a million parts to deal with and is super easy to clean. The blade is sharp enough that I didn't have to really put in any effort to turn the top with the cucumber on it. I can't wait to test it on some other produce!

Best handheld spiralizer on the market. For $11 this goes a long way. If you are just starting healthy eating, this is a great tool to have in your kitchen. Buying store zoodles usually has an upcharge of $5 for a bag! This will save a lot of money and it only takes 3min to get 1 zucchini worth of zoodles. BUY IT.

I was so impressed with this tool after my first use. Made some gorgeous zucchini noodles effortlessly. I love that this tool is smaller than other veggie noodle tools so it doesn’t take much space to store. Also, I’m not worried about possibly cutting myself Unlike my previous veggie noodle tool. Definitely a great purchase!

This is my first spiralizer and it is great! I didn't want to get a massive countertop one as I use it for meal prepping which usually consists of about four zucchinis. This was the perfect size and fits great in my kitchen drawer. It was very easy to clean and use as well. I like that there are multiple settings as well. Overall, I would highly recommend for small amounts of cooking! My hand did get a bit sore after a few zucchinis so I wouldn't plan on slicing a ton at once with it.

So we love making zoodles in our house and I’ve tried a few spiralizers over the past few years. I’ve come to prefer handhelds because they’re easier to wash and most tend to create less waste. My mother in law has an electrical one but to use it, you have to cut the zucchini in half as well as cut the ends off which yields fewer zoodles per zucchini. Not a big deal, but then to wash all the parts after never felt worth it to me. My favorite handheld was cone shaped and the clip finally broke in a way it was no longer usable. I bought a few other spiralizers and didn’t love them because they were equally wasteful or just too hard to use or clean. BUT THIS ONE!! I spiralizers 2 large zucchini in less than 5 minutes with minimal waste. The larger portion of waste was the middle which I’m okay with because that part tends to be too mushy when cooked anyway. This device also yielded slightly broader zoodles than other ones I’ve used but we ended up liking the broader noodles better as they kept a better texture overall. Would definitely recommend!

I was suprised at how "thick" the thinest noodle setting was but it worked GREAT on my sweet potatoes and I was able to make some impressive sweet potato tornado chips that my daughter loved as a special treat! Overall i'm satisfied and see myself using this quite alot this summer.

This is the first spiralizer I have ever owned. When it first arrived, I’ll admit that I was a bit intimidated but still gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually quite easy to use and made perfect zucchini noodles. It was also easy to clean and is very small so it doesn’t take up space in the kitchen.

I was surprised at how impressive this little spiralizer is. I decided to make a sausage, sauerkraut, potato, and onion bake. I used a large russet potato and white onion. The ease of use was a big plus. Simple instructions right on the box so you don't have to deal with a booklet. The instructions are clear and concise, and adjusting the size of the spirals is so easy. The spiral shapes (ribbon, fettuccine, spaghetti), as seen in the photo, came out perfectly. The small metal cylinder in the center acts as a stabilizer and corer (nobody wants the tough, reedy/seedy parts in their zoodles!). The blade cuts with ease, so it is minimal effort on your part. I also love the ease of storage and washing. There are only 3 pieces: the plastic guard comes off easily with a twist, the blades needn't be separated from the center piece, and the food holder is convenient for when you get down to just the end nub of food to spiralize so you don't cut yourself. A quick rinse and it's in the strainer to dry. It takes up very little space as it's so compact. I use the box it came in to store it. I've owned a couple of other compact spiralizers and this is the best one yet!

Please see the video attached to this review. The product is amazing. Compact, super easy to use, and multiple settings. Pretty much as easy to clean as rinsing it off. Safe and easy to use, even with a younger helper in the kitchen. You can have some fun with applying different levels of pressure as you turn your veggies, besides the different settings, how hard or light you press will give you some fun and different results. Totally love it

If you're new to mandolines and spiralizers, learn from my mistake! I've had mandolines and graters before, with no issue. The shape of this, and the fact that you have to use a twisting downwards motion to spiralize veggies, makes it especially dangerous. The food holder - the little grip at the end - is worse than useless, as it doesn't adhere to any vegetable I tried. The first time I was using it (to spiralize parsnips), the grip slipped and I sliced off a part of my thumb. After fishing the piece of my finger out of the mandoline's cavity, I ran to the urgent care and almost passed out at the blood. The urgent care nurse told me, ruefully, that she'd thrown her own mandoline away after seeing a few too many gruesome injuries. Once I arrived home with my thumb safely bandaged up, I began Googling and discovered that these types of slicers are INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS. People are constantly injuring themselves. I looked up and bought a set of cut resistant kitchen gloves Other than the terrible food gripper, the spiralizer is everything it's advertised to be: it's small and did a great job spiralizing the vegetables I had. The blade is super sharp and protrudes, so I wish it had come with some kind of lid for safer storage. I also think cleaning it could get kinda dicey - I'd recommend wearing gloves or using a long-bristled brush so that your hand/fingers stay far away from the blade. All in all, an OK spiralizer. But if you've got more counter space, I'd still go for something like the Vegetti (which I've also used), where your hand never comes near the blade while spiralizing. It's more mess, but far safer.

I was probably holding it wrong -- and I admit, I wasn't using the plastic thing you're supposed to use to hold the zucchini in place -- and I managed to cut off the very tip of my finger. It's healed now, but I'll be more careful next time. It's quite sharp. Having given that warning, this is more compact than other slicers that do something similar. The spirals it makes are not really like spaghetti. More like long egg noodles. They can be very long unless you cut them.
