The length is kind of short - so almost every time I need to get into the cabinet both ends of the bar come all the way off the lock track and I have to drop everything and use both hands to re-assemble it. When you have a toddler- both hands aren’t always available, and you don’t always have time to do tedious things like this. I’ve seen better ones on the market that have longer bars and even some with bars that are just longer on one side- which would work fine

I bought these for my parents for when I bring my 15 month old over. We, personally, have magnetic locks we can installed but for their house it didn’t make sense to drill into their cabinets for the amount of times he goes over there (and will be in this stage of getting into everything!). They really like these; they just slip them on before we head over and take them off when we leave. My 70&80 year old parents can operate them easily (which says something because she can’t work the car seat or even his high chair!).
