I like that they are super easy to install, durable easy to remove but the best thing about these child saftey locks is I can open them with one hand which with a toddler in tow it is sometimes necessary!! Very easy to install but once you snap in the back piece you cant readjust it. That the length its staying at permanently, but if you know the length you need then install is a breeze. Okay, color me impressed. These really work. I installed* one on our freezer because it doesn’t have a solid closing mechanism and kept getting left ajar. This forces us to close it properly and does double duty at keeping our curious 4 year-old out. I’m impressed because, since they’re white, they blend into the freezer and I forget they’re attached. I’ll give the door a solid yank and it doesn’t budge a centimeter until I disengage the magnet. Perfect!

The only problem is when you place it where you don’t remember that it’s on…then if you pull on the door and it doesn’t open, then you YANK on the door – the little plastic latch isn’t superman! You can tear it off or break it. But I don’t really think that’s the problem of the latch…mainly my wife yanking the door open without seeing it there!

I use these for the bathroom and kitchen to prevent my 15 month old daughter from accessing the lower cabinets. These are easy to unlock for an adult but I imagine it would take a toddler a considerable amount of effort to unhinge. If the cabinet door is pulled they do tug open just slightly at the top but again they remain locked so unless you’re raising the hulk or mcguyver I think these are a fine choice. 3M tape adheres very quickly after application however there is a window of time that you need to allow adhesion to set in.

I have a compost bucket/bin under the sink. We got these lame cabinet doors that don’t close flush so the cat gets its paws in between the door and opens it and makes a mess of things. Well, pets are like children, annoying AF doing weird stuff, and this keeps the doors closed. It only works if you remember to lock it though… but that’s on us. When it’s locked, no mess, and no worrying if I have to take the cat to the vet. My doors have about an inch gap between them and this holds it no problem.

Easy to use and install. The clip to latch and unlatch is strong. I have issues with my hands and I can easily latch and unlatch the clip. But it is high enough out of a child’s reach and not something a child would easily figure out. Purchased to keep the dog’s sudden need to check a cabinet out…OUT.
I left saud dog for two minutes and when I returned the cabinet was open and one side of the lock/attachment was off.
Adhesive is not strong enough.
Not sure if I should try again or just wave the white flag and continue to put a wooden stool in front of this particular cabinet.
On a side note, I wish these could be purchased individually as well. I only needed one but had to get all four. Seems wasteful.

I bought these for my special ed classroom because some of my students had the skills to open traditional child safety locks and we needed to make the kitchen-area cabinets safer so students couldn’t access sharp utensils. These work perfectly and are easy for staff to use, yet students can’t open the locks without the magnet key. The adhesive sticks really well and we’re very pleased with this product. I wound up returning this product because unfortunately it didn’t work with the kind of cabinet doors I have. It was the right things in terms of the type of latch and the handles on my cabinets (they’re handles rather than knobs), but the doors that I needed to lock with this are too far apart to affix either end of the lock on one cabinet door. It seems like it’s otherwise pretty much exactly what it says it is, but I would definitely recommend measuring the distance of the doors before ordering.

Purchased these for my kitchen cabinets. Removed original knobs so I could place these locks in the same location just in case the epoxy does remove the finish from the wood. These child locks exceeded my expectations in every way, in fact, my only complaint is that I DIDN’T get to use ANY of my $1000’s in fancy tools and gadgets to install them. NOT ONE!!!…… thats just depressing. Oh well, always another project. Great product though. My 1 year old made sure to come right behind me and test each one but quickly gave up, success!!

The adhesive is just terrible. I had to replace with a double sided tape ( one that did not ruin my cabinets). If you don’t line it up right the first time, then forget about it working right. After the adhesive fails to stick anymore, they are pretty much garbage, guess you invest in tape, like we did.

It is not a pain to open like some other baby locks.

My ferrets love to open my bathroom cabinets and dig into all of the things they’re not supposed to — they knock over the bathroom scale, put claw and teeth holes in the bathroom trash bag roll, pilfer knee braces and hair trimmers, and of course could possibly get into deadly cleaning products. I’ve tried a few different types of products to keep those doors closed, but no need to try anything further now. These are dead simple to install, don’t require a single measurement or mark or drill hole or template, and are just as simple to use. It takes just one hand and one second to press down the little lever and swing the bar. Pro tip: I installed ours “upside down” so that the bar swings downward (clockwise) instead of lifting up (counter clockwise) so that we can just press the lever and the bar releases with gravity. So easy!

My cat is about as much terror as a toddler, and he’s decided that his newest favorite place to get into is the bathroom cabinet. I bought a pack of these and they work perfectly to keep him out. These are good for doors that are very close together, as I believe the sticky parts are only about an inch apart (check the description for the exact measurements, I don’t fully trust my memory). They are very easy to apply, just peel the paper off the tape and stick it in place. It can be a little tricky to push the tab in far enough to get the latch open, but it is definitely child- (and cat-) proof. And they’re much more convenient than what my parents used when I was growing up, with the U-shaped plastic that was held together by a lock that slid onto the ends, and you had to take them completely apart to open the cabinet. Plus you get 4, which I think is a good deal for the price. Whether you’ve got a toddler or a troublemaking cat, I recommend these latches.

We’ve only had these on our bi-fold closet doors for a three days, but so far we love them. They are strong enough that when you try to open the door open, they don’t open, unless you press the button to open the lock. The adhesive is strong enough too, that when you try to open the door, these things don’t fall off. They feel like a good plastic too. Not some cheap flimsy feeling plastic you’d get from a dollar store. They took all of thirty seconds or so to install. Simply peel off the paper on the circle adhesive pads and stick them on to the surface. We put these up high too, so our toddler can’t get to them. We were so happy with these, we ordered more for the remaining closet doors in the house.

These Cabinet locks aren’t very strong, they are made of plastic. My fourteen month old boy pulls on the cabinet handle a few times, which then will break the cabinet lock. The lock broke on the round swivel piece knob which sticks to the frame of my cabinet. Each time they break I use my heat gun to get the rest of the glued broken piece off. There were four locks in the box, I’m on the fourth lock for the same cabinet. I will look for something a stronger, made of metal.

I had originally bought a bifold lock for my laundry room door which unfortunately got stuck due to my doors being to thick or the paint on my doors getting stuck to the plastic. Either way it wasn’t working. This product was an amazing find. Latches the doors closed and keeps my toddler out. Best of all it’s an adhesive so I dont have to worry about drilling holes. I live in an apartment and my landlord would not have cared that all the holes were for baby proofing. I’m using these to baby proof my house, which is nearly impossible to baby proof because our one year old gets past EVERYTHING. 3 kinds of baby gates and he still gets through them. We’ve used other types of drawer and cabinet locks and he just broke them. So far he cannot get through these, and he’s been trying his hardest! He can’t pull them off, can’t break them open, and can’t reach the key thanks to the key holder attachment! We’re also using one to secure the camper door. We’re using it to hold the slider in front of the door handle so we can open it, but he can’t just open it and fall out. So far, so good!

Perfect for the refrigerator (which is what I bought them for). And also good for drawers and cabinets since they can be adjusted. BUT they can only be adjusted once so be very careful and very exact while placing them. And if you happen to misplace one or both of the two “keys” it comes with, you can just use a refrigerator magnet to open the latch as well. Downside is- if your kids see how you open it like mine have- they will be able to figure it out and just open it themselves. So I have to hide the keys and keep the refrigerator magnets as out of reach as possible now.

Works perfectly as a child safe fridge lock, EXCEPT my 4yo did already muscle it off once, the adhesive hadn’t set yet when she jerked on it. Helped me turn catbinets back into cabinets and catboards back in cupboards! Wide double-door cabinets still pull out a bit so tiny paws (or human spawn) may still claw at something inside and they might conceivably get stuck or pinched.
You better be very sure you put them where/how you want them! I had to snap one off I screwed up and I am still trying to figure out how to get the adhered bases off the cabinet. I will try a razor blade and then Goo Gone or possibly trickle baby oil behind the bases.

We have a tv cabinet with glass doors and our 1 year old is constantly getting them open. Bought a pack of these and it works perfectly! No more worrying he’s going to pull off the glass doors. Just wish I could buy only one instead of a 4 pack.

So these cabinet locks are great but only in specific rooms and types of cabinets. We installed some in our kitchen & they fell off. I believe it was because of the type of cabinet, But in our bathroom they are super strong. The locks keep our kids out of the bottom vanity cabinet. Love these!

I don’t have children but these work great on keeping our 7-month old cats out of the kitchen. They had figured out how to open the double doors to our kitchen while we were away and reeked havoc. The latch is easy to use so my husband and I can still gain access. Not sure if they’d work great for larger pets but for our 8-10 pound cats they’re the purfect solution!

great cabinet locks that are easier to use than the traditional baby proofing nightmares. the installation took no time and the adhesion has been great. They are definitely on there and not going anywhere. they are easy to open and close and I would gladly recommend them!

Such an amazing product! Highly recommend. Super easy to apply and simple to unlock for my use, thankfully not for my son though who is 18 months. He tries to pick on them but they’re pretty strong. Not only does it work great, but they also don’t look too bad on my kitchen cabinets. Not sure why I didn’t buy this sooner! It only hit me once my child started going through all my cabinets, breaking stuff. Well I learned my lesson and I was very pleased that these keep him out of unwanted places!

There was nothing that I disliked with this product it surprisingly was easily to attach to my cabinets. The handle clicks up and then you are able to open the cabinets. I have never seen a safety item like this one before and it supper neat. My kids can no longer open this cabinet
. I recomend this product for those moms out there who want to keep yong kids out of dangerous items such as soaps and heavy brakeable dish wear.

It is very convenient and easy to stick them on the cabinet. The stickers are from 3M . This is a must for safety caution with my baby boy who has been crawling around and exploring everything .It is funny he now tries to get the locks down with his little fat fingers:)

Our freezer lock broke a while back. We wanted to make sure the door was always properly shut; especially with kids around!

These work! I know alot of us mothers struggle finding good child protective locks/straps but these worked on my three year old. Five minutes after installing he noticed them on the bathroom cabinet, they did not budge! I recommend before you peel and stick these make note of measurements and clean the surface where you will install. SET UP AND INSTALL LESS THAN 10 MINUTES! A++

This was extremely easy to install and worked so well. I actually got this to use for mt cat, she loves to try to open cabinets as loud as she can. I have tried other products but nothing works like this. It is no extra work for me to lift the bar to get into the cabinet and it is extremely secure. I woukd recommend this to anyone!

Unfortunately the only place these work for me is my bathroom cabinet, and I try to keep that door closed at all times anyway. But they look nice, and were easy to use, and haven’t broken yet. My son can’t figure them out — so, that’s good!

I’ve been looking for decent child locks for a while, I didn’t like the other child locks that I’ve seen a million times, then I was looking at these ones and and I’m glad I bought them. I love how they have magnetic key type locks. They’re are so simple to use and are keeping my 9 month old out of everything. These are a must buy and I will be buying a lot more!

These are very nice. Easy to pop off if you don’t want/need them anymore. (Just use a butter knife.) My only thing is, my 2&1/2 yr old son figured it out in SECONDS :/ No kidding. But he’s good about being able to watch someone do something, anything, just once & he’ll be able to do it too. I think it’ll definitely work for younger children though.

The white cap that the lock latches too pops right off hence not locking anything. Any child who has any pulling strength whatsoever can open these. It keeps my 2 year old out, but my three year old gives a minimal pull and has the cabinet open and the small white tab on the floor which is a choking hazard. I wouldn’t get these.

Only locks to work! I’ve tried numerous kinds of cabinet locks with no luck… These locks work!!! I no longer have to worry about my daughter or cat getting into the cleaning supply cabinet or ones with glass storage containers! Every lock I’ve ever tried my daughters been in the cabinet right after installing… these locks she CANNOT open! I would recommend to anyone with kids or animals you want to keep out of your cabinets!

I primarily got these to keep my dogs from opening my bottom kitchen cabinets where they like to lick the pots and pans, so far so good. These were easy to stick onto the cabinet doors and the clip is easy to open and close. I also put one on my towel cabinet because my cats keep opening the doors and sleeping on the clean towels.

I purchased these locks for doors for children for safety purposes, but a thought came to mind… these are great for RV’s! Easy to install, they stick on to the outside of the doors. They have a clasp that the adult must pinch (squeeze) to open. These appear to be very durable and will last for quite awhile. They are very easy to install as they stick on and are sent with the stickers on them, there are 4 in the box, so for a standard house 2 or more boxes may be needed. Because of the design, I can see this being used in RV’s because of the problem some of the have with the doors swinging open when traveling. I like these locks, they work just like they should, and will be hard for children to open and manual dexterity is something they haven’t quite mastered and it does take a bit of strength to open these. I think they only drawback was that it does take strength, and someone with minimal finger or hand strength would have problems opening them, otherwise, these are great!

My six-year-old forgot the lock was there the first morning it was installed and yanked hard enough to break one of the posts. Fortunately the adhesive was easy enough to remove so we replaced the broken part with an extra. It’s been working fine for the past month; toddler can’t break it and everyone else remembers to open it first.
My toddler (who is 2) CAN work the lock if he can reach it; the one on our tv cabinet is lower and he can open it if he stands on a cushion. It takes him a few tries and usually we catch him first. Overall we are happy with the product.

Fantastic! So easy to install no hardware just peel and stick! I have a sly cat that gets into the pantry where I store his food and in my media cabinet. 5 minutes after installing he went to try to pry the doors open to be surprised he no longer can get in! It worked! Great price for 4!

These are good for your ‘beginner’ needs of child locks. It will definitely keep my less than 1 year old out but if my 3 year old wanted in, he could just muscle them off.
Haven’t tried to take them off yet so I hope because it’s 3M tape it will come off somewhat easy.
